Any plans? If not, I think I'm going to go explore...

I'm out for the day. But it's already 10am. Why don't you guys run Slaughterhouse? Quick drive from Golden/Denver. We usually meet here...

There is a gas station right there. About 8 minutes to the trailhead. Meet at noon, be done by 2-3pm, grab a quick bite at Hog Heaven BBQ.

Or, go give Twin Cone a look. Meet at the same place as above. About 30 mins to the trailhead. Trailhead is on the left and marked as CR 872. Plenty of signs......

There it is.....post up a trip report! Be safe and have fun!

The weekend after the meeting is almost here - is there a run planned? :)

unfortunately, I don't know how to set up an "official" run here. Nor am I sure that I'm at the point that I could take the responsibility for other folks. In other words, I don't even have a winch yet :o

It looks like the run would have to be Sunday. No takers for Saturday.

The wife has me painting this morning. So no offroad plans for me today.

What? You were the thread starter here..... bring your wife along! I already set it up for you.

Thanks Stan! I might go give twin cone a look. From what I've seen on traildamange, Slaughterhouse and Twin Cone might be equally muddy:( this time of year but if I can get some views out of it, it might be worth it...

Oh okay. That's what I get for assuming! I think I'd still like to gain as much elevation as possible just cause I haven't had a chance to yet...

Alright. I can't stand just sitting around here any longer. I'm going to fabricate a bracket for my tool box, and then I'm headed up to see what north twin cone peak looks like. It's been bugging me ever since I only was able to make it up half way last time.

I'll post up on here when I leave. It'll probably be around noon. So, that'll put me at Kenosha Pass by 1:45-2:00 Hopefully, if all goes well.

WyoOtto, you wanna come along?

I'm heading out the door right now to go that direction. I have company coming in late this afternoon so I have to be back at a reasonable hour. I'll be in front of you but I'm certain we will cross paths. I'm in a black pink panty cruiser.
