Hi All,
Putting new calipers on the front of our Troopy (83 w/Discs). I have one on, with the little keeper spring that goes through pins that holds the pads in place (not really a spring, but a little steel wire piece). The calipers & pads also came with a wierdish, "W" spring. I'm assuming it is supposed to keep the pads separated so that they don't rub on the rotor. But my old brakes didn't have it, & I'm not sure how it mounts. Anyone have any ideas, or know how to talk me through putting that in place?
Thanks,
Abe
