After seeing your photos I decided I didn't really need to do what I'd planned for Saturday. Count me in.

If you start at 10:00 am, what time will you finish so I can hit pavement back to Denver? I'd love to join, but I have concert tickets at Fiddler's Green for Saturday night, and I want to make sure I have plenty of time to "prep" for the show.:). I'm hosting a co-worker for the weekend from France, so it'd be nice to hang with the club and show him some mountain views. OR is there a bailout if we are running late that we can exit to get back to Denver? Looks like a great run.

@Trail Bum I don’t know for sure when we would be off trail but I would three at the latest, but I think we would be done around 2. Just depends on how often and duration of stops. I can think of three places that we typically stop, two are for views, maybe one for lunch as well. The other one is a steep hill climb. We normally stop here to wait for any downhill traffic before moving up. The trail is pretty easy so you could treat the first section as an out and back if you are worried about time or zip on ahead if we’re moving slow.

Good Morning! I just wanted to double check on the meeting location coordinates. Please confirm the
numbers: 39.33505.-105.51380. Maybe I am putting in the numbers wrong but the numbers are not near Montezuma.
And if you are coming from Keystone, CO., going toward Montezuma, Is Peru Creek BEFORE the town of Montezuma?
Only a double check. Thanks.

Here are the coordinates for the meet up air down spot. 39°33'50.5"N 105°51'38.0"W . You drive through Montezuma and it’s about mile outside of town.

For airing up, there’s a pull off that leads to Peru Creek and some other hiking trails that we will stop at. You will be pass it on the way to Montezuma. So it will be before on the way up and after on the way down. Peru creek itself is still distance from this pull off. It’s on one of the corners and in the past has offered a lot of space for us to air up at and prevents backtracking once we are off the trail. The two trails we are doing are a through trail.

Yes! If people can arrive a little earlier to air down that will help a lot!

So it’s looks like a Toyota event Destination Outdoor is happening at Keystone. They are running trails in the area including this one. I say still continue with the original plan. We might have a little more trail traffic is all, but at least we meet see some sweet yotas. They really kick off the event at 2 so we should be wrapping up around when they are starting. It is free for anyone who wants to attend, looks like they have a raffle and cool vendors.

I think we will run a different trail on Saturday. If that changes, I'll post something to let you know we are headed your way. Have a great day!
