good idea. I have a cold and I am a little slow today.

he is "taking the best offer he gets after a week or 2" becasue he does not know anything about these vehicles.

I'm not positive but I think my dad and I looked at that rig a year ago. I was thinking it was a 77 but I could be wrong. Is he located somewhere near 32nd?

It doesn't look too bad really. That rust wouldn't scare me off (it's no worse than my '73) but cosmetics are my last concern. Plus if it is a 77-78 that's the best year IMHO to be looking for, assuming it still has the stock drivetrain. Doesn't look like it's run in awhile, so depending on if you can get it running to check the mechanicals I wouldn't hesitate to make an offer. I recently offered a guy $2000 for one in similar condition that ran, but he wouldn't bite.

Treeroot: When you looked at it, how much were they asking, and did it run?

I looked through my emails and I believe the one we test drove was a 77. It was mustard but I think the top and doors were white. Probably not the same one
