wonder what proof he has that it was buzz's rig? rich did drive a 45. in 1992, he did a writeup on his only fj45, which was a 78 out of canada and he did use that for his photography. he mentioned trying to buy an early one from a family that bought it new in 67 and wouldn't sell.

13k isn’t a horrible price. If that’s a CBI rear bumper that’s 3k, 1K for addicted front bumper, looks like the old brand Rocky Mountain roof rack is another $800. This doesn’t come with a center locker like the 02 would and the modified rear locker I have no experience with. Those King shocks are not inexpensive either but I’m not sure what the price would be on those. Important mods like the transmission cooler will make transmission last a lot longer. It’s also a built and maybe a ready to hit the trails rig. I would want to see how many miles are on what components and negotiate from there. My guess is that this guy decided he wanted a fj80 as I’m a big fan as I have the same vehicle.

Also has electric distributor set up,extra gaskets all included.
Many other things as well
Runs good and drives ok needs master cylinder for brakes as it leaks floor have surface rust no holes.
Has working heater.

Looks like it was originally "Lilly White" like my '67.

It does have a center diff lock just like my 01. The price is high, I could see this going for around 8k... maybe 9k if he had the interior detailed. The mods are all good and I really want to do the andy mod on mine! I would be concerned about the axles with that larger rubber on them. If they had upgraded cromoly shafts then I could see a little higher than 8k. Tranny cooler would be nice, led dash lights could be hit or miss. This rig looks like it has been used for what it was built for, would be nice to see that all the bushings have been upgraded to polys. If surface rust is showing on the frame then I would be concerned about the rear shock cups on the frame. 13k is pretty steep but he has put a metric shit ton of hours and equipment into this thing.
