Go to the listing on Craigslist and click the "Flag" link. They will usually pull it down after enough people report it.

Speaking of scams, I fell for one on MUD on a mini truck P/S box. The d-bags are getting more and more sneaky.

Edit: What I learned from this experience is to never buy anything from an unknown seller using PayPal 'friends and family'. I would of had buyer protection if I used 'goods and services'.
