Very expensive for a salvage titled vehicle, and he originally listed it for $90k. I need to sell one of my Cruisers and would sell my fully built 2013 for much less than he's asking.

Speaking of which, this is my stock 2008 on Craigslist. I'd sell for a little discount to someone here at Rising Sun, and I'm open to selling any of the 3 Cruisers if someone is interested in one of the others.

The salvaged title is a BIG deal for most people (and trying to get the kind of insurance you would need to cover the extras). Now if I were the seller and wanted a cheap ride to build off of and make my "forever cruiser" it would be perfect. From my research, a salvage/rebuilt title takes 20-40% the average asking price... I do not feel that "discount" is reflected in his asking....

Insurance isn't a hard thing to come by for this with the salvage title. I've owned 4 different salvage titled vehicles and the price from my experience is more in the 40-60% below clean title value. This in my opinion is a 35-37k rig.

Just curious which part of the Vin tells you where in production it came out? Mine didn't come with tint either

Not Toyota, but pretty cool. No title is a bummer, otherwise it would be a great candidate for working out a honda swap or the like. $975

Dang that’s right by my house but I just got to the office. Like I have any place for a 40 anyway. Doh
Seriously. If I had room for it I wouldn't have posted it here lol

I like how it says drives great, but has no hood latches...how do you keep the hood from smacking the windshield while driving, or does it just idle around the yard well

description below lists it as 1979, fat finger, or, as someone else mentioned, is it a fake ad

Yeah something is up with that ad, my bad. I found the same vehicle listed on Facebook a week again and he also listed a Toyota truck a few hours ago that seems too good to be true. A lot of the normal red flags I normally find on a scammers profile aren’t all there though, but it doesn’t add up. Truck posted in Lakewood, 40 series posted in Fraser.

Ok it was real and I bought it. I really doubt I will get my 65 stolen 40 back and my other 40 is more of a trail rig than I wanted. So. He lived in winter park, had this on Facebook for months with zero interest so he lowered the price. Just moved to Denver and didn't want to store it. Very very solid rust free start to my ideal 40. Plus it has a 4 speed. And my boys are gonna be ecstatic. All the little stuff is removed to paint, it is all there
