Trail TBD after we discuss a little more here.

Saturday Sept 19, the Saturday after CruiserFest. Broncos games seemed to be a big issue with attendance in the past, as well as some of us have 40's with less than robust heaters, so let's plan accordingly.

We will discuss trail choice at a later date, will depend on the crowd. Last year the group opted for a relaxing cruise but all opinions are welcome!

So get your plan together to get your 40 ready, you have 3+ months!! :)

That is quite a bit away but I am planning to be there. It’s always fun the 40’ run.

It’s on my schedule too Tim. I’m trying to make the grill chill next week. Thoughts on where you want to go this year?

Updated the yes and maybes :)

Open to suggestions for a trail. I have a few ideas, might do a pre run one of these weekends. But want to talk to the group that is going and see what they want to do.

Another idea is to follow up last year's run by doing the other side of the Rollins Pass. Perhaps side track on Jenny Creek or take the main route & have a group photo at Yankee Doodle Lake?

Been thinking about Geneva Creek. It is heavily used now for sure. 20 years ago i could head up there on July 3 and have half the trail to myself to camp. I might run it this weekend in my 62 to see how it looks these days.

2 years ago we did the east side of Rollins, at least part of it. But the east side is SO bumpy and rocky. Jenny Creek is almost smoother! :) IT makes a long day in a 40. But we have done a little of Rollins and then headed up Apex and played around there then head to Blackhawk the back way and have lunch at the res. etc

Kingston is one of our adopted trails so always a good idea to clean it up :)

I think the 60's Only Run this weekend will really be me doing some preruns and seeing what looks good for the 40's Run! :)

A run with nice scenery and a bit of challenge would be nice. Long day would be fine with me since I am towing my 40 . Fourty wheel time should be more or at least as much than trailer time. 🤣.Maybe my son will attend to and we would probably bring two 40.
