Tecnically, the HAM class qualifies as a RS event, so you've already got that box checked off. :thumb:

think i'm gonna miss it. i just can't see sitting in the traffic and there will be plenty of ski traffic since it's a nice weekend. plus, a nice day means a good time to get stuff done around here

I got pressed ganged into fixing the stairs as our house will be on the market in a few weeks.

Sorry but I'm out...

...spent the day with chores and then went for a ride on my DR650. Don't have my truck ready, and have still more chores for tomorrow.

I do/did like the idea and would try to go again sometime. Maybe go play on the Switzerland Trail or something sometime before spring?

Cheers!

Yep, the next one I have in mind is the Switzerland Area for maybe mid-March? We'll see, my schedule is busy for the next three weekends. I'm still going to go tomorrow, I'll wait until about 8:30 and head up Guanella Pass. If nobody shows up I'll take it easy but it will still give me a chance to get a couple question marks out of my head...

Yep! Wish I could download pictures off my camera, but I'll do a quick writeup just to relay what I found out.

Yes. (I know, I know).

I was being very cautious, (I know, I know, that doesn't make up for it).

Consider my wrist slapped.

I do solo runs too quite often but like you mentioned....you just gotta use your head and have an escape plan! Sounds like a productive run! Solo runs can be a lot of fun but you always want someone to witness the fun....feels weird to tell the story without witnesses! ;)
