How far can you make it on Schofield Pass coming from the Crested Butte side? Last post I saw was 3 weeks ago. Ran it July 13th last year and was completely clear, gonna be there in a week.

Last report was 3 days ago which sounds like there may still be one section blocked with snow and people have been driving off route on an illegal bypass.

Just an update, road was completely clear all the way up from marble. I hit it perfect and started driving from marble at 7:30. I had no traffic at all in either direction. I’m not sure where this by pass would have been? As I saw very little to no snow. There is a new rock that has fallen on the marble side that made for a spicy pass but otherwise smooth sailing. Also there was a rock last year after the punch bowl that is no longer, not sure if ppl or Mother Nature moved it but either way was happy to see it gone! I did however slice my side wall open on the last creek crossing on the way out to CB.
