Scenic fun trail recommend for out of town family?

Hey guys and gals, my Brother in law is coming to town for buisness in a week or so, and I was wondering what trail you might recommend that:

Is scenic,
Fun,
Not snow packed,
Close to the Northside/metro area,
Might have a few obsticles to climb over... can't let him think I am a poser.

Probaly head out the saturday the 17th if that kind of trail sounds fun to anyone feel free to come along.
