How have they not just locked the account? And why are they not tracing the inbound transactions and sending them to the authorities?

This looks like a clear case of complete negligence by the bank if they don't just make this good with you.

Statement dates between 10/19 to11/19, statement received 12/01 when account locked. Well _____ in one hand and Hope in the other situation,
Hoping like never before, I share here because I have not met someone I don't trust here (never gone to an actual meeting) or on the Trails. So, i am gullible and little stupid, I guess.
But if this can help anyone, I'll feel good or at least better.

I'll post outcome 90 days or so? Too much other stuff going on.

makes me glad i check my accounts on a regular basis after the same thing (not to the $ extent of you) happened to me a few years back.

Now I am checking accounts once a day and will continue that. It has made me feel like an idiot.

Update:
Received a call from my Bank 15 min ago, I will reportedly receive a full amount refund. Pop pop fizz fizz, Oh my what a relief it is. Making some changes to my accounts. Just, still scared but not as worried now.
