Key Details for 2026:
  • Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026.
  • Time: The parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m..
  • Location: Downtown Denver, starting on Wynkoop Street.
  • Theme: Stars, Stripes, and Shamrocks.
And so far, we have 10 confirmed participants:

1) @The Rock FurRunner
2) @ChevyKeith
3) @Capriblue45
4) @BritKLR
5) @nakman
6) @NotyourmomsWife
7) @justin4045
8) @timmbuck2
9) @CardinalFJ60
10) @sierramechanica

Our club approved enough money for 10 more entrants (a second entry fee), so this is a post to see if there are 10 more folks that would like to get in on the fun! Personally, I’d like to see a piggy jump in there somewhere to get full representation 😃

So speak up folks if you’d like to jump in so we know if we need to grab that second entrant slot, please. We need to know by the 26th because the 28th is the last day to enter. Insurance is a must.

There *does* happen to be an award for the best vehicle of the parade, which was awarded to a four letter word last year, in case you were curious

Alex can you update the post with what vehicle everyone is bringing. It will help me make the decision on what truck I bring. Thinking maybe bring the troopy if Chevy Keith has the 45 covered.

So are you coming again this year?

Great point! I’ll reach out to everyone after we know how many are coming - look for a parade participant thread after the 1st of March

You’ll be my first back up! My thinking is if we get five more confirmed folks (and their beautiful rigs), we’ll grab that second entry for the parade. I’m not the sharpest crayon in the orchard though, so I’m wide open to suggestion here. We’d be lucky to have you, @ilya1967

hey Alex & all, I'm sorry but I gotta back out of this. My son has a rugby tournament that weekend in GJ and we're committed to watching that, I didn't realize this was the same weekend until this week.

there will be more St. Patrick's days.. not too many college rugby tournaments your son is playing in. Hopefully it's a great experience and we want to do this again, was looking forward to it. :risingsun

My Land Cruiser is red so I’m not sure that this is the right event for it, but I would be willing to pull someone’s trailer or float with the Cruiser. I will wear a green shirt. Ha.

I didn’t leave myself enough time to decorate…

I’m sure it all depends on the amount of dropped batons and apples, but not too long. Start to finish I think an hour is a good planning time, plus staging

Step off for the parade is at 9:30 from Coors Field’s parking lot, and also ends in aforementioned parking lot. I would think we would want to stage around 8 or 8:30. The site mentions closed streets for the parade route prior to the parade, and a fairly immediate opening of the streets afterwards.
I’m going to reach out to the organizers and get as much information as I can, so keep the questions rolling in.
