We had a small group of 6 trucks, 5 80s and a 3rd gen 4runner. We did an invite only for my first run of red cone, no hard feelings to anyone else. It was the perfect group size, a couple rad passengers that kept the day exciting and no fuss over obstacles. I had some trepidation at a couple places, just built them up in my mind and they ended up not being an issue at all. Dom did an amazing job with building Knitty up for me, she did everything she was supposed to. We also experienced all four seasons on trail, including snow! Hitting the moguls while muddy and raining was a bit interesting. We had lunch at the Webster pull off and managed to start our way down as weather kicked in. The hardest parts for me were the mental aspects of the descent off red cone as well as the off camber sections of Webster. Dom knew exactly when I needed some encouragement.
it was a great day with amazing people! Thank you everyone for joining us!
