Yes. It is the new Africa Twin that is coming out next year. It will be the most dirt oriented of all the adventure bikes coming to the US. It's not as light or as powerful as most hoped for, but rides like a much smaller/lighter bike from what I've heard. I'm sure that once the stock exhaust is jettisoned the base bike will be just over 400lbs.

Wow. I never thought Honda would bring those back, let alone into the US! I've always loved the older AT's. All the US Honda riders wanted them and begged Honda, but they never built one for the US market. (sort of like a Toyota 70 series.)

Too bad I don't have 12 grand to spend on a new toy!

I sold my 01 last year once I was reasonable sure the new one was coming to the US. I loved that bike. All it needed was better suspenders and a sixth gear both of which the new bike has. Can't wait to see it. :)

I don't know if you remember me but I think
I bought a roof top tent from you in like 2004
It was a group buy on Mud
I picked it up from you on a cold day off of hiway 7 and hiway 85
I think you had a red 80 series
I had a Green LX 450

Nice. I remember that day and wondering if Wes was going to make it back with that tent on top of his old Camry.

I've been bikeless for just over a year now. That will change as soon as the right 2012/13 VFR1200 pops up. The AT will follow. :)

Ha! yep that car wouldn't die. I put all kinds of stuff on the roof to tote around :hill::hill:

"lack of front end feel" lol

I dig the ABS delete for the rear and the various traction control options. Also the DCT is weird and I'm surprised they like it.... but I guess they like it?

Less than 100hp from a 1000cc seems a bit low but I guess it might keep you from going full retard? I dunno, seems like mo is mo betta but it sure looks fun as is.

I dig it.

I saw one in person last week - I had to do a double take cause it was between two GS's. I dig the gold rims.
