.Thought I'd give an update to this run since its been a while. As of Monday, it's looking like I'll be doing chauffeur driving 3days a week. 6am to 6pm. Training starts on the 25th.
I've managed to save my time for the Cumbres and Toltec Run, as well as my Brother's wedding with them. But I figure a week trip on top of that might be a bit much. I'm probably going to push Outlaws back again this year, sadly. Ill keep everyone updated, but it's probably going to be in December like last year. Need to start researching new Wild Bunch areas in warm climates......

So during Ghost Town this year, Dave K and Brian W suggested an idea of keeping the Outlaws on it's original dates, route, and I just show up when able. I thought this was, is still a great idea. Some things after getting settled into the new gig: I originally thought I'd be working three days a week, but to get full time, am now at 4 days. Sat-Tues. This makes it a bit harder for me to run out there just for one full day in the desert. Would you all be cool with doing the run with out me this year? I'm happy to hand of the trip for this year if these dates work for everyone else.

I'm committed to a 20th anniversary trip with Karie the following week, so I'm out either way this year. Still might be able to make a few days of the train viewing trip.

If your up for leading the run this year, I'd happily let you. Internet at home isn't working right now. It's looking more and more that I won't be able to do Outlaws this year

I'm out for the September run. Slammed with work going to Denver in Sept, Oct and Nov. December would probably work IF it gets moved back. If not, I hope everyone has a great time.

I'll never forget stumbling upon the Ruess book at the Hanksville BLM ranger station before the Henry Mountains trip.

I'm interested, put the dates in for time off. All the locations sound good to me - will have to decide which rig to bring depending on the trails.
I might be able to do a 4-day weekend or such. How long are we talking?
