If the weather stays nice this week, we'll have no problems. No matter what we'll be able to make it up to the dinner/camping site, and depending on conditions everyone can then choose to stop there, or go on up the hill..
Yes, there's camping.

It's "primitive" camping, so bring a portable toilet if you've got one, and bring warm stuff, see the
winter camping tips thread for suggestions

And the road's easy enough to the site that your offroad popup camper would make it up there, and you'll be able to unhook it prior to the real wheeling.
There's also a cookout/potluck dinner. Please bring something to share, including tables, paper towels, and trash bags. A 10x10 and a big tarp would make a great wind shelter if it gets blowing.. which it can. Though today was just about perfect up there but hey a week can change everything.
Difficulty I'll give it a 4 out of 10? Maybe a couple of the spooky prerunners from today will have something to add here.. I used my rear locker a couple times, but was seeing if I could get crossed up in a few places, enough to not go. yup

a stock 60 with good driver could do the whole thing. If it doesn't get any snowier up there. We'll have a good idea once we get to the camp site, what it'll be like further up.
Idaho Springs Safeway, 3:30, Saturday. Be sure to dress up those trucks, and make sure the dogs and kids are full of gas, and on their best behavior. It's spooky time.
