It was a great day on Yankee Hill for the annual Official snow run. We had fantastic weather and good trail conditions that consisted of a decent amount of snow that had a hard crust with a very fine powder underneath and minimal ice overall. We were able to make it up and over Yankee Hill and some of the group made it all the way to the top. Some of the group exited back down the trail and 6 of us went down the west slope to Alice. Unfortunately, I never got a total vehicle count but if someone did, please chime in. Huge thank you to everyone involved and to @JadeRunner for helping with set up and pizza, @damon for tail gunning and to @bassguyry for helping me with burrito delivery.

Killer day on the trail! :headbang:

@DomOfTheDead did an awesome job organizing the run, and keeping all us jackasses in line. One more reason to love the Rising Sun, ya'll!

Been looking forward to this run for a few months now. Took a PTO day for it. One of my favorite winter runs. Any more I don't like winter.

Finding myself a bit drained these days. Woke up today a bit exhausted. Excited to see all the pics.

Thanks @DomOfTheDead! And to everyone else for being kind to me. 🙂

I took a grand total of five pictures, only one worth sharing. @FireMike's 80 is in the background.

@DanS has more pictures, I'll try to make sure they actually get posted, haha.

Ok. Didn’t get as many as I had hoped, but…

(I’ll try to edit and put names to trucks later)

@SaintAgatha and @FireMike (winching didn’t pull the 80 through, it just pulled the GX down, even with chocked wheels)

@FireMike winching to a tree. But this one was too far to double the winch line.

@SaintAgatha curtsying in acknowledgement of just how hard that drift behind us (that @FireMike was still working to get out of) was. RBGX broke through it unassisted, but I think about 1/3 of the trucks were able to make it through without a tug, winch, or traction boards.

That was a great time all! Thanks @DomOfTheDead for putting it together!

Really fun, adventurous and challenging day with good people in a beautiful place. I so appreciate all the help getting Large Marge unstuck!

BTW.... I'm missing a Steel WARN Pulley if anyone has a spare suddenly. Thanks

Huge thanks to @DomOfTheDead for somehow organizing all us feral cats! That was the largest snow run I have witnessed! Also a big thanks to @JadeRunner for helping me pull line and getting me further into the playground than I have ventured into the past. This can be a slow moving train and everyone one was patient and not pushy or rushing to move forward while the Congo line stalled out. This is one of my favorites and the group really came together to help eachother either by spotting in the quarry or offering equipment when needed. Such a great day and will forever be burned in this old brain!
