Ok, I was suppose to be finishing the fiberglass box but since I set it and I had time to kill I thought I might as well take out the old crap shocks and throw in the set of OEM's that I had ordered from CDan. Well I got the old shocks out after a BATTLE but when I was putting new ones in, i noticed that the new ones didn't have the metal plates that go on the bolt side and the shock side. So, I just used the previous metal plates on the bolt side but left the shock side with the black rubber thing and no metal plate since it wouldn't fit. Anyhow, can someone please tell me if that's the way it's suppose to be or am I complete idiot and should slap myself now?

I believe there should be a metal plate, or big washer, on both sides. In fact, both sides of the bushing, on both sides of the mounting plate of the shock. This is in front, right?

I've got a huge can of extra suspension parts. I'll dig it out and bring it to the Rally.
