I got to see the new century in person last night and I was totally impressed! It runs like a sewing machine and has a ton of bells and whistles. It’s also got some of the softest leather seats I’ve ever sat in.
It’s a great car and super cool.

It looks better all cleaned up. I didn't care for this color when I saw it in pictures, but hot damn, I love it in person

Do it! No balls
I'd like my 80 to run until it doesn't. If it's going to be down for a while, I would rather it be by it's choice, not mine.

I got to push this amazing car in my cul-de-sac (stuck in snow). It’s such a neat car.

Never will happen again once he throws some muddies and a rear locker on it.

6 months of ownership update.

I have put 9k miles on the century. So I'm sitting just under 100k miles. Only thing to go wrong on it is was the alternator. I had D&D auto electric rebuild the old one. It sat in @CardinalFJ60 garage while it was rebuilt.

I've driven down to Dallas with no issues. I get 22mpg on the highway and 16 city. It will cruise at 100mph all day.

It's byfar the most comfortable vehicle I have ever owned. It's also insanely quite on the inside. I don't think I'll ever own another sedan other than another century. I still think everyone in rising sun should get one. I'm already thinking of getting a 2005+ when they become legal to have the 6 speed transmission and seat coolers.

Fun fact, the oil filter the V12 uses is the same as the 12HT.

It gets a lot of attention and everyone mistakes it for a crown. I didn't care for the color at first but it has grown on me a lot.

my biggest concern is when I have to replace the windscreen. They are made to order and can only be sourced from japan. They take 2 months to make plus however long it takes to get it shipped here. It's also $2k just for the windscreen.

It has been dead nuts reliable, other than the alternator. Everything works as it should. I would have serious sellers remorse of the BJ71 if I would have bought anything other than a century.
