I've been stewing over this idea for months and finally decided to just do it. We have a Ham/CB Corner -- why not a Photography Corner for all our camera buffs in the club? As I found our when I bought my D200, there are a lot of guys in the club with plenty of knowledge, experience and gear.

WWWHHHHHHAAAAAAA

This is cool, now we have more to BS about.

PS, I have several Canon lenses and if somebody is shooting Canon they are more than welcome to borrow what I have before they buy. That is if I have it.

Insert photo specific smiley here :D

Tom we're all Canon too. We've got the stock lens, a Tascam wide angle, and a zoom that goes to 200 I think. I believe the wide angle is the one used most often, as we're mostly taking baby close-ups.

This is my new hobby/obsession. Been taking concert photos and family photos for people at work this year. I love taking pictures. :perry: and I geek out on photo stuff over :beer: every now and again.

Are Hulk and I the only Nikon guys here?

Here's a couple:

Nice shots and they look good in B/W. Funny how we go back to B/W for more drama or effect.

I need to steal the camera away and take some wheeling pictures or something, as just about everything is of the kids.

Though I do love every one of them... :)

Keep taking those shots, next thing you know they have their own camera and you wonder where the time went. Wheeling is fun and memorable but your kids..............

Besides each year the snow gets deeper and the rocks taller;). With pictures we can call you on it, without well..............we just have to take your word for it I guess:rolleyes:

I tell people it is not the camera it is the user. Though since canon does all there own work in house and nikon shipped theres out canon was in the lead for digital for years. nikon is now slowly catching up.
