We found that you could not get a clean finished pipe without many weld joints. Also, by reusing the flanges you can slip 2 inch pipe over the existing metric pipe and not have to weld into the flanges. This saves the seat area for the permanent exhaust gaskets. ...
Hmmm... calculating... calculating...

A 2" flex joint might preserve the increased flow... if it fits... hmmm... calculating...

I think we are going to work on this Monday. If I can use a larger flex than original, I will and let you know how it works out. Pics to follow.

I figure if you can make Spock's eyebrows move, this won't be a problem.....

It won't be a problem because, like Spock's eyebrows... I can copy good work by others!! LOL

This working all winter while there are good wheeling opportunities is getting old (as am I). I am ready to enjoy for a while!

Ol' Skelator would be much improved by a 5VZ-FE... but it is a bunch more work to adapt- you would need a tranny too, and a V6 adapter, and relocate your driveline forward...

pizza cake.

It is a little known fact, however, that all Skelators must have their IFS removed and replaced with a solid axle before a 5VZ can be installed. Otherwise your fenders will fall off and your CB won't work.
