Need carb help 2f stock

Since my frame swap my carb has been getting worse and worse. (took the carb off to move the engine) A couple days ago the 40 won't start. Short term solution, buy new Seqouia for wife, I get the Uzj100. Anyway it 78 fj40 now won't run. The carb is leaking gas and a fair amount of it. So, do I rebuild if so who? or what? I think I'm selling the 40 in the spring anyway so I don't want to dump a bunch of $$ unnecessarally. Nor do I wan't to sell it not running.

Rebuild kit is only like $20-30 you could give a rebuild a go. It's not all that hard. Or you could send it off to jim c or mark or buy a new one from nardek.

Sounds like a rebuild is in order

I sent my '78 carb off to Jim C.

FJBen sent his to Mark.

We both like the results - AFAIK the prices were about the same...
