need a ride...weekday

weds jan 31st, i need to get from my house in commerce city to the eye doctor's in greenwood village, then home again about 2 hours later. because i'll be on morphine and/or demoral, they won't let me drive . it's a wednesday, middle of the day...anybody willing to give me a ride for some ?

need to be there at noon and they said it takes about 2 hours

and i'm keeping my drugs

Ige, not sure what surgery your having, but it may not be good for you to be home alone later when you can't see. How about coming down to casa Romer and Bonni and I will take you to and from the Doctor and you can spend the night at our house. You be able to see in the morning?

Otherwise, we could take you at least one if not both ways.

laser surgery. that'd work, if you'll have me. i have to go for post op the next morning too, but they said i'm fine to drive for that. i'd be a heck of a lot closer though.

You should wake up the next morning amazed that you can see and really all you'll want to do after the surgery is pretty much sleep anyway. The drugs aren't for the pain, IMO they're for keeping the patient mello and relaxed and in the chair.
