I’m in the process of trying to build up a bike for a family in need. The bike will goto a Boy Scout trying to complete his cycling merit badge.
We picked up a bike at the local swap but the frame turned out to be cracked. What I’m looking for is a 19” or large frame. Hardtail 26” wheel with a 1.125” head tube. Between the bike we got and my stash of parts I should be able to build a complete roller with just a solid frame.
Who’s got an old mid to high end frame or even complete bike they need to get rid of? Needs to have v-brake posts. Bike needs to be simple for the scout to learn to service without special tools.
