bout to go to the bank, gonna hop on simplex and see if anybody's on. kind-of a long shot for me since I am waaay up in lafayette.
Fun chat...Figured about 2.5 to 3 miles line of sight from Matt's place to mine and he was hitting me at about a 7...Not bad for a measley 5W and certainly better than CBs. I doubt I'd even hear him on the CB...Have to test that someday 
Still monitoring. Keep hearing a little bit of voice with lots of static. Any of you guys?

I was on for a bit (since last post) on 146.460 and called out on the 145.460 repeater a few times. Don't know if it was linked (*10 to link?) but either way I didn't hear anything really except for some guy on 146.460. Sounded like he was just chatting away to fill the airwaves, not really saying much just taking up time.
Matt, may have been me on simplex.. but it also may have been that other guy..

Nothing but a whiner for 20 minutes, I go to bed and you guys put up 1.5 pages of chatter? I am soooo glad I am keeping things running at work at 1:46AM...much better than a nice comfortable bed. It's even still friggen hot out. Went to bed at 9:30PM, back up to go back to work at 12:30AM. That's what I get to make sure things run long enough while the work is here.
