Headed to Moab for New Years. Can you guys offer up some suggestions for trails. Not looking for anything to crazy. Rating 5-6 tops.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

If you have never been to Moab, I would suggest Fins & Things to start, not hard but fun. Just be aware with any of the trails, if they have snow right before, you can get lingering ice on some trails that would make them dangerous. Have fun.

Flat Iron Mesa is one of my favorites: decently challenging with epic scenery.

having done moab numerous new years, i suggest closer to 2-4 trails. snow and ice make everything interesting. i've wheeled moab trails in tire chains before to get up icy ledges.

I’d have a contingency. Having done a bit of flat iron in snow, it can get terrifying. Or just see how far your gut will take you 🤪

Thank you for the recommendation, it is super helpful. I bought a guide to Moab 4 wheel drive trails, but I really like the first hand knowledge from folks who have been there. Thank you!

Thanks for the advice - I will definitely be watching the weather. If it get nasty, a few good local trips will be in order.
