Microphone repair?

If you guys will let a mouth breathing CB guy in here...

I've got a couple of Astatic power mics that need repair (mostly just the cable re-terminated). With Radio Service Center closed, who does this kind of work now, particularly on the south side of the metro?

Im not sure but have you checked with hro? Do they do repairs?

I did, and they don't. The suggested "one of the local ham clubs" but I haven't found one.

Maybe somebody here with good solder skills could help? I'd offer but I am a hack when it comes to that stuff...

I'd be up for that. I don't mind normal automotive wiring, but this is a little more detailed than my old hands and eyes can handle.

"reterminated"? I'm about to put a right angle plug on my CB Mic. Some cut and solder involved. What end is yours?

That's pretty much it. New right angles, and one connection inside the mic.
