mile hi jeep club is having their annual aspencades run this saturday. the run will be on guanella pass. they've also tied it in with their adopt a trail event to block off the iron fens which are being destroyed by illegal tresspassing. iron fens are an extremely rare plant that only grow in about seven places in the country. they are asking for a five dollar donation. they will be camping at the bruno creek campground (just past the second cattleguard from the 285 side) and will head out around 9am. cory said something about deep fried turkey for dinner.
