Getting off topic, but curious how you move and transport a Bridgeport? Hire a millwright?

Here in the Springs I have always used Randy's High Country Towing for moving machine tools up to and just exceeding a ton. I once also rented a off-road forklift to move my last milling machine. That monster was like 20 ft long and it still started to tip forward unloading my last mill, which is a bit of a monster itself...

I use a company in Longmont called MMSolutions. Not cheap, but they won't damage anything in the move process. They tend to use forklifts, rigging a sling under the head of the mill. There's a process for locking things down before you do that. Once in the building, they'll use machinery skates to move it around if the forklift can't get inside.
