The vodka one made me actually laugh out loud. It was more of a snort, but mission accomplished. I don't run anymore now that I am a fat old guy with a questionable back, but I'm just imagining grabbing a shot of vodka on the Bolder Boulder run.

For me, a shot of vodka while running a 10k would essentially serve as an immediate "eject button" for all of my stomach contents...

For several,years my niece and her husband lived in a hipster Cincinnati neighborhood on the Marathon route around mile 10.

They had a huge block party with a band, free drinks, and a contest to see how many participants they could encourage to drop out and join the party!
