that was my goal. maybe leaving wed at noon would get us there with enough time to explore a bit.
stop by one evening and maybe we can make something.
gotta remember it's going to be dark at 5. You'll be exploring with a flashlight
why are you skipping the house on fire now?

Full moon dude. No flashlight necessary, except for the parts where we're tunneling![]()
Not sure if anyone other then a few of us know but the Devil's Kitchen camp sites, of which there are 4 in a row, are among giant boulders the size of 2 story houses or larger and they are all linked by small and discrete foot trails..
Pretty cool stuff. Come to think of it the last time we were all camped there it was or nearly was a full moon, as well. Definitely lights the place up out there.
Wish we were going sooner then later.
We need to fab up some Gamaviti burrito cookers...
Since they dont have a 4th gen 4R to use, I propose one be designed for a 100 series
I cant read this thread anymore. I just read it over the weekend but I'm already wishing the trip was starting today, not a wednesday in a couple months!
Chris, is there some places to wheel where you are doing the 10M hike? Not sure I am up for a 10M hike
The harvest trail is mostly flat. You drop down into the canyon and have to climb back out, but that part is relatively quick. As long as you have great shoes and your boxers don't chaffe, you could probably go further than you think compared to some Colorado hikes I've been on. Come to think of it, the climb back out was really the best part. I wonder if we could hike it backwards, and then turn around at the harvest scene...probably trim a good bit off that hike.
Yep, here it is. http://www.utahtrails.com/MazeOver.html
