Double bummer, and I was really looking forward to that hike. Jeff is out too. Work and his Daughter's birthday. Frankly, I can think of many reasons to stay behind too and only one to go - I love the Maze!

I could probably do chili soup (ground beef, beans, tomatoes, macaroni noodles) with crackers, cheese and whatever else if need be. Please advise as I only have tomorrow to get ready . . . I have to leave Wed morning.

I'm confirmed at this point. Should be interesting... last minute trip and no time to pack! I have a diesel gas can, but no way to mount it. Wish I had a hitch mount jerry can holder.....hmmm....no time to whip that up.

The best area to camp is to exit and turn south, heading under the freeway, pass through the larger parking lot and meander back a bit until you find what you like. There are tons of spots that will accomodate us.

Is this the same parking lot as the Kokopelli Trail trailhead ?

For those that do not get there Thursday night, have you established a meeting place and time ? I know Green River (Friday morning) was mentioned and also Hans Flat.
