I have this extra shock, it works mechanically but I f'd up the mounting eyes the last time I replaced the DU bushings (used the tool I use for Fox shocks which is apparently not the right answer for Answer). So now the mounting adapters wiggle a little, which is guaranteed instant death to the bushings. IIRC it's a 7.875" eye-to-eye and is a 2.25" stroke.
I was thinking maybe someone (Marco!) might could think of something to use it for.
