Any tips to replacing shocks on an 80? I'm expecting its a matter of bolt-off, bolt-on, but any tips :blah: are appreciated. (I'm replacing my old OME's with new OME's ordered today from Ben)

Hope you are all well!

Squirt those bolts generously, especially the back ones on the bottom, they tend to be the ones that everyone breaks. The DS front is the worst unless you have a fancy air rachet, because you're working under the brake stuff.

Also on the back, don't try to remove the top bolt- instead remove the two bolts that hold the mounting plate to the floor of the truck. Then when the plate & shock are in your hand, do the top bolt. then put it back.
