So...the 60 needs the carb re-built - not immediately, but I'm starting to think about where/how to do that. I could send to Jim C., but curious if anyone knows of a local place or guy who can do a quality job?

I'd rather not take my first stab at re-building a carb for my DD. ;)

thanks!

You will not be happy unless you send it to jim c or mark. There is no 2 ways about it.

I'd find a used one to send to him off mud, here or ebay is my :twocents:

Another vote for Jim C. If you call him, he might already have a 60 carb ready to go. Just pull yours, send it, and he can possibly send you a rebuild the same day. He did my 60 carb and the turn around was about 5 days from pulling it to installing.

Go to the Carburator Shop in englewood # 303-761-1116, He can rebuild and tune it to the vehical. Does some damn good work. you will be happy with it, he will set it up for the altitude that you use it most, keeping in mind if it is a D/D or a weekend Crawler.... On the N.W. corner of Cornell and Unatilla.
