Went up to Loc Lomond for a day trip to escape the heat 
for a few hours on Saturday. What a 3 ring circus it was. VOLVO's, Rav 4's, other cars and even a full dress Honda Gold wing. That trail is so tamed now anything can go up there. Then the waters edge looked like Chatfield reservoir, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and people everywhere. And worst of all was how empty all the lakes were. Chins and Sherwin were almost dry. Traffic was terrible so many you were constantly pulling over. I remember when I first found this trail back I 85' we could go up there on a weekend and have the lake to ourselves. Man I miss the good old days. Anyways here's a few pics. The first 3 pics are Sherwin and the other is Loc Lomond. Threw in a pic looking up at the rock house on Kingston peak.
