Here is an email exchange with Brant Wobig this morning... anyone able to take him up on going up there yet this fall? Surely we will have some Indian Summer yet...

Hey, Brant, good to hear from you!
Darn, we wuz kinda hoping to participate in the water reroute! Good onya. Sounds good. Glad the creek crossing is still there; I know OHVs and water can be controversial, but frankly it's a boatload of fun, really adds interest.

This fall, eh? I would've thought you were almost closed for the season up there. I am personally tied up till mid-November with building a house and moving in, but I will surely post this in our club website with your email addy.

I went hunting for pronghorn, came back with three. Yum, yum. Going elk hunting this year?

No dates, just shoot Brant an email.

He completed the creek crossing hardening, and the creek reroute out of the 4x4 road there. He says we might be disappointed with the challenge remaining. I suggested we might do a follow-on project to add challenge back into the route (like, moving boulders, doing drainage control that doubles as obstacles), as we have lost a lot of the challenge in the CCRD and I think people start straying from designated routes looking for more challenge.
