Leaf run on Slaughterhouse Gulch Sept 16th.

I have those 2 days off and want to do a leaf peeping run on Slaughterhouse gulch. Does anyone up in that area know what the aspens are looking like up there right now. I am working most weekends so hard to do a weekend run. Every time I have been up there I keep saying need to do a aspen run there.

Ok lets do Wednesday, meet at trail head 10:00 AM air down an roll out.
GMRS channel 22.
Bring a lunch for the bottom of the gulch.

I was thinking of going next week somewhere but this sounds a lot better than what I was thinking. Right now either day works for Rupert and I, so we should be in.

Not sure if this is the right place to post a 'Thank you', but we had a great time yesterday driving Slaughterhouse Gulch. Takeaways---the Toyota Off-Road Tail Pipe....good idea. In addition I'll configure the vehicle for either 4x4/off-roading, or overlanding/camping. Departure angle in the hitch receiver area is very limited with the RiG'd tire carrier and limited space in the garage for parking are the determining factors.

Being new to these blogs, let me know if I should have posted this somewhere else.
Thanks again Dan and all...had a great time...and I still kept the appearance of the running boards unscathed....can't say that about the under carriage. Sliders are next!!.....Ron
