Is there a legal route over Rollins Pass?

Trying to find a legal route over Rollins pass for the Jenny Creek clean up. I have heard of rumors but cant seem to confirm them anywhere. Once when I was up there (east side) I saw a long line of rigs seemingly go over the top. Anyone?

no. the illegal route was probably the pipeline route that has been since blocked off.

Search for Boulder Wagon Road. Not a legal route yet...

You cannot imagine how many people have asked that very question. The barrier is Boulder County, the various wilderness advocacy groups (BWG goes near, but not necessarily through, Wilderness), and the Boulder Ranger District itself (particularly Christine, the ranger). Gilpin and Grand counties are down with reopening it, they would like to see it.

Let your feelings be known to the BRD.
