is it safe to replace u-bolts one at a time?

i need to replace my front u-bolts on my 84 fj60 still spring under but lifted. can i just unbolt one and replace it then the next one? seems simple but i would love some input. thanks

You mean like one at a time all 4?

Should be just fine. Torque them good and then take it for a drive and re torque

Each corner of the truck has two u-bolts, so a total of 4 nuts to hold each spring perch plate. Out of an abundance of caution I would replace them one corner at a time so you can torque down the 4 nuts evenly. Replacing one u-bolt then the other might lead to uneven tension between the two u-bolts or a cockeyed spring perch.

My question is why are you replacing the u-bolts?
