Wow, had a nice day. A little woosie from over eating but the baby and the wife both sacked out so I figured I'd slip out to the garage and get some work done. Started puting my transfer case back together. Got the idler gear in. Got the output shaft in and the bearings pressed on, shift fork is in and the extension housing is back together. So im sitting there scratching my head , why do I have an extra collar for my rear bearing retainer? Does'nt make any sense. Somtimes I think I can't win for loosing..So.. anybody have a parking brake drum in good shape? Is that the remains of a speedy sleeve or somebody's cobbled repair?
