Dude, same, exactly all the bulbs mentioned, it was working way before, same as yours. I got it back, and I couldn’t get it working, so I dove deep. I went nuts trying to figure out why, so over-engineered it.

FWIW, the wiring isn’t bad; a proper inline fuse relay for constant power when the ignition is off gets me parking queen mode for the onlookers. I’ll watch them watch it. Ran the wires through the A-pillar down to the fuse box with a ground to the chassis. That’s enough tech for the rig.

I think I’ll attempt to drill a hole in the mirror mount base to run the wires down to keep them out of the way enough.

Finally got the hvac wiring and lighting to work, the leads were messed up. Replaced the AC bulb with an NEO5-BHP from super bright LEDs.

Picture below is at the brightest setting.

Just waiting for the upholstery shop to free up their time to install the headliner; getting pretty close. Also found the headliner bow tabs.

In the meantime, I found a powder for the exterior bolts that's a near match—going to powder all the exterior bolts, because why not? They'll eventually rust, and this is a good way to slow that down, so here I go.

Speaking of the exterior, door handles. The old ones were beat up, tarnished, and cracked; the paint shop damaged the driver's-side one, and the plastic retainer was missing, so they just slapped on a fender clip to hold the whole thing together. Explain why the driver's-side door wouldn't open correctly when I pulled the handle.

This is the thunderdome version, passengers get no air. Yes, didn’t install before taking picture. I got ahead of myself.

Aaaaaand, surprise. Found out the paint was contaminated when they sprayed it, so I have polkadots in the hood, under the clear coat. I shall name the rig, Ladybug.

😒

Mostly on the front of the hood, at first I thought it was dirt, closer inspection, under the clear coat. I've gotten other issues at this point to start a conversation with them to see where it goes, it will not be an easy conversation knowing what I know about them now. Poor worksmanship is annoying.
