Went and ran Holy Cross w/ @justin4045 @Dirt Claude @NotyourmomsWife and Cruise Moab Faithful Anders.

Great time on the trail. Traffic was moderate up and back down. Only issue was I had a stem break on my rear shock.

Great time for sure!

@Notyourmomslx450 Did you over extend your rear?
Maybe? It broke on the way back down over nothing really. Heard a pop, didn't think much of it, Dropped off a little ledge and and than it inverted itself and started dragging, bent the shock shaft. Pulled it. Finished the trail and drove it home minus one shock on Sunday. The rear has a little more bounce to the ounce atm,

I had a blast on Holy Cross. We had a skilled group of drivers (Lisa too!) which helped keep us moving at a good pace. Kudos to Justin for his mad spotting skills.

Did y’all realize we are listed on this sign??
What part do we or did we play in Holy Cross??

Way back in the day, rising sun and the other clubs listed donated time and energy to repair a large bog area near the top and to work on the entire french creek area to try to get a winch point that wouldn't wash away every year and some fence work up at the city.

that sign is about 20 years old now and sadly, a lot of those groups no longer exist. all the more reason it's important to help new groups get up and flourishing so they can continue to maintain and fight for trails.
