Yeah, I've read that it's getting lots harder to ID parts and find diagrams online via Toyota... and my experience has confirmed it so far.
Just as I'm lookin' for obscure trim pieces for multiple hail tune ups to. :(

It looks like they are trying to sway people from buying their own parts and installing themselves and going to the "buy our parts and we'll install them for you" model.

Dang, that's too bad. I ordered like 30 unique parts back in March and they had all of them ready for pickup in 24 hours. And the prices were good with online ordering.

I also had a guy at the parts counter (not Derrick) tell me that the Rising Sun discount was completely shut down. Our discount had been replaced with the better online discount anyway, but it was still a blunt shock. He made it clear that he didn't give a crap about me or the club.

Been a while since I've not done online but I still was able to get the club discount. Fwiw last couple of times I've been to Groove and asked for the discount there it seems like they are giving me a much bigger discount than they say.

Dang, they only list a 2WD version of the 100 series drivetrains now :( :ROFLMAO:

Looks like the diagrams are all gone and the navigation is pretty excruciating so far.

This description of my wiper arm makes me feel all warm inside :
There are lots of alternatives for purchasing Windshield Wiper Arm (Left, Front) car parts for your vehicle. Toyota Genuine parts have been produced to meet Toyota’s functionality standards. Toyota OEM parts are made particularly for the make and model of your car. They're made to fit correctly, while some parts produced by other manufacturers may be made to fit a variety of cars. Getting Toyota Windshield Wiper Arm (Left, Front) parts directly from the source provides many benefits: Trustworthy Ordering: Unlike OEM parts, you might have to search around to discover the part you need from an aftermarket provider. Get precisely what you're searching for when you need it by purchasing from the original equipment manufacturer. A Custom Fit: Parts aren't one size fits all. Your Toyota automobile is special, and the Windshield Wiper Arm (Left, Front) parts used in it are, too. Getting Toyota OEM parts gives a great fit and ideal performance. Know you're getting quality when you pick Toyota genuine part. Quality: It's very essential to purchase directly from the source to make certain you're getting high-quality Windshield Wiper Arm (Left, Front) parts. Plus, OEM parts include a warranty to take genuine care of your Toyota with Toyota genuine parts. Replacing or Repairing of Windshield Wiper Arm Depending on your wiper arm, your blades may chatter excessively, even if they are brand new. If necessary, our service department can replace the wiper arm on your Toyota.

I love the bit about how finding correct aftermarket parts may require me to 'search around' as if the OEM was straight forward.

I'm making light but super bummed at how much this complicates parts hunting for me overall. Time to learn some new tricks I guess.

I ordered from Stevenson because they will ship free and I don't have time to get down to them. But had to use other Toyota dealers websites for correct part numbers and just plug into their site.

Several years ago, before they changed ownership, Stevinson wanted to charge me something like $20 to ship a pair of rotors. I ended up driving down and picking them up.

The shipping quote before the discount on the 2 rotors I ordered was $65 from their location to Loveland. I LOL'd
