We should be tickled that Mayor Hickenlooper declined to run for Governor!!!!
In case you aren't aware, he is a died-in-the-wool Sierra Club major supporter in Colorado. He has donated the back room of his Wynkoop Brewery for "secret" (but we snuck in) Sierra Club meetings with SUWA (So Utah Wilderness Assoc) plus provided - at no charge - 2 kegs of beer for the attendees (and yes we drank as much as we could hold).
With the Roadless area situation dependent upon recommendations from our governor, we definitely don't need a Sierra Club member as governor in Colorado. Keep this in mind for the future.
