Hi all,
I am redesigning the drivetrain in my electric 80 and need to get the help of someone with serious CAD and CNC skills. We will probably have to go through a few prototypes and it may take some development. The end result would be a machined billet aluminum adapter between the electric motor and transfer case. Does anyone have a recommendation for a great machinist who could take this project on?
Thanks!

Can you 3D print the prototype iterations before you machine a chunk of aluminum?

Yes. My maximum build volume is 280 x 280 x 285mm, however if we need something bigger we can always make it in 2 or more pieces and assemble them.

If you can wait a few weeks (maybe a month) I can be your huckleberry. Both design (CAD) and machining (CAM). If you need it sooner, or maybe just a jump start on the prototype I have access to a TM1p. Given what it is, I would guess it would fit in the envelope.

Prototype & small run is my jam.

Total thread drift, but if you have 7.5 minutes (be sure to play it at 2x speed) and were curious about what John was talking about with a TM1P. Assuming I got the right thing, anyway, it's satisfying.
