Heading Out to Cruisers on the Rockies in the morning

I had been doing the LCDC (Land Cruiser Destination Club) the last 10 years, but they ended that after a final run in Ouray last year.

The guys from Georgia put on an event based out of Silverton. I heard, it was a blast last year.

I know a few of us from the Club are going. @nakman is sponsoring a whiskey night and Iam going on his Alpine Loop Run (before the whiskey). I am going with @AimCOTaco on the Black Bear Pass Run

Slee is sponsoring a dinner

Should be a blast

Any one else going? I will be on 146.460 on my way there. So far the fires haven't shut down Highway 50, but I will check in the morning

What route are you taking? I'm leaving from Castle Rock - i25 south, but probably not until 9:30 or 10 due to a mandatory meeting...

I am taking 285 to Buena vista and then 50. I am leaving around 7:30ish. I should be on my 2nd beer when you get there

Not going, but the pre-run guys were camping about 25 minutes up the hill from me in Salida, so I went for a few beers, stories, laughs, and good times. Had a fun time hanging at the camp fire, so I know everyone going will have a great time at the event! Also a few of us met up yesterday for a non-event run on Alpine Ridge.
