i believe this affects the miller's triple bypass runs and some of our ghost town areas....

The comments deadline is approaching on the Gunnison NF travel
management implementation. COHVCO is compiling information for the
comments but we have very little info on 4WD trails within the Gunnison
NF. Does anyone have trail info, or know someone that has trail info or
history on a trail, trails, or anything 4WD related for the Gunnison NF
that can help add to the COHVCO comment response and argument for
keeping as many miles of trails open? If you do, please contact me!

Scholfield pass ,Kebler pass, Taylor pass ,Pearl pass ,Cement creek, Taylor reservoir, Tincup pass are all in Gunnison National Forest .
Montrose east to the Continental Divide north to Independence pass and south to Rio Grand national Forest.

Okay I am reading this and I do several of those passes, but what is she asking for? Someone in the club referred me to Bushducks.Com to check their site for pass conditions. I was at Pearl Pass about one month back-June 30th I believe it was.

Gunnison is doing it's Travel management Revision under the "new" 2005 planning rule (AKA; The OHV Rule) They are currently seeking public input on Roads, Trails, Routes and their current condition/designation.

She needs on-the-ground information regarding the trails being evaluated, to compare with the official version. Also, user experiences, issues, the need to keep a trail open for X recreational value, the need for connecting routes, etc.
