I don't know if this is where I give kudos to a local shop or not, but...
I took my FJ62 radiator to Gold Star Radiator on Broadway to get a heater hose outlet installed for my v8 conversion yesterday. Picked it up today and the guy did a great job for a great price. I was really impressed with his work and easy going attitude.
The TBI motor I'm putting in doesn't have a heater return line in the manifold as the car that it came out of had the return line dump directly into the radiator. I asked the guy if he could put in a 3/4" hose nipple and he did a great job. Charged me only $25 and saved me the hassle on buying an inline tee for my lower radiator hose that would have just been another place for a leak to start. Not to mention that the tee costs more than the work he did.
